The NEA invited 17 young professionals under the age of 30, representing 14 countries at the Roadmaps to New Nuclear 2024 conference. 

The next edition of Roadmaps to New Nuclear will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of Korea.

The OECD NEA and the Government of Sweden announced a new collaboration on a system cost study of the Swedish electricity and energy system.

The new agreement will bring together like-minded countries to advance new build projects.

NEA announced Sweden will host a workshop designed to discuss the legal frameworks needed for the adoption of innovative nuclear technologies and applications.

The OECD NEA and the Ministry for Climate and Enterprise of Sweden will co-host Roadmaps to New Nuclear 2024. 

Meetings were held with Kenyan government representatives and stakeholders in the nuclear field.

The sixth edition gathered around 60 participants to Stockholm, Sweden.

The NEA delegation travelled to Bulgaria to take part in “Sustainable Nuclear Innovations.”

The report builds on the Country-Specific Safety Culture Forum organised in Tokyo in December 2023.
