While nuclear energy is recognised as a necessary tool to address the pressing issues of climate change and decarbonisation, there is a lack of trust and understanding in nuclear energy from the general society. With the social context surrounding nuclear energy, the Council of Advisors will focus on ameliorating the public perception of the risk of nuclear and additionally improving public engagement, trust and understanding.
