The NEA International Criticality Safety Benchmark Evaluation Project (ICSBEP) and International Reactor Physics Experiments Evaluation Project (IRPhEP) Technical Review Groups, and the Shielding Integral Benchmark Archive and Database (SINBAD) Task Force were set up to compile and evaluate critical, subcritical, shielding and reactor physics experimental data into standardised benchmarks published within handbooks. These handbooks allow scientists to use experimental data for the validation of calculation tools and nuclear data libraries.
The Technical Review Groups and Task Forces for these projects will meet during the week of 15-19 April 2024 to review the current status of the activities and to approve new entries. The meetings will be hosted by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), California, United States.
The exact days dedicated to ICSBEP, IRPhE and SINBAD reviews will be defined at a later date depending on the evaluations submitted to each project. IRPhE will be scheduled towards the end of the week to facilitate potential participation to nearby PHYSOR the following week.
LLNL will host technical tours in conjunction with the meeting.
Meeting participants will have access to a password protected working area on the myNEA SharePoint.
